As the new FSO-CM, I am looking forward to the coming year and hope to meet the objectives set forth for our flotilla. I'm sure this will be possible with the help of our qualified watchstanders, new watchstander trainees and other interested members.
We hope to expand the use of the radio trailer and add an air conditioning unit to make it more comfortable for the watchstanders. We want to use the radio trailer for patrol communications, vessel examinations when appropriate, and coordinating with PE promotions. We also hope to use the trailer for trade shows.
I'd like to encourage more member participation and hope that you will become involved in training to become qualified communications specialists.
