Dan Beauchemin, FSO-PV

January was a month of planning and development in the Program Visitation Department, with the emphasis on training to become certified Program Visitors. The RBSVP class has been established to make it easy to understand the program and to make it a rewarding area to get involved in.

Thanks to Jim Mayer and Bernie Appelman for their time and valued experience with member training, and for their help with classroom instruction. Thanks to all of the members who are participating in the first PV class of the year on February 5. You are definitely going to make a difference.

Also this month we have identified new recreational boating safety partners who might help to increase Public Education classes and Vessel Safety Checks. We will introduce them to the benefits of promoting RBS programs within their establishment.

We are planning visitations in February to qualify and register new partners, and to meet the needs of our existing partners. We look forward to getting exciting new partners on board, and we need new visitors. If you would like to be a part of the PV team, please contact Dan Beauchemin. We are looking forward to an exciting year!
