Grant Skaggs, Past Flotilla Commander, presided in the absence of Larry Urbanek, Flotilla Commander. Visitors included Lou Conti, District 7 Commander, and his wife, Mary Ann. After preliminaries, Dave Shuster, Flotilla Vice Commander, swore in Zarela Velasquez.
Announcements of interest:
· Crewmember Bob Morrison was injured while helping to launch a facility. The incident will be reviewed later.
· The flotilla no longer needs to keep records of fuel consumption.
· The communications trailer is now owned by the flotilla and registration will be updated.
· Staff officers who have left and need to be replaced include Jim Mayer of Member Training and Heidi La Quadra of Communications. The flotilla also needs a fingerprint technician.
· Classes for Telecommunications Operators will begin November 10 at the flotilla building.
