The month of October had seven patrols, each of which were single vessel missions conducting safety patrols and some ATON verifications. We had a variety of watchstanders this month, giving each a good opportunity to refresh their skills before the busy winter season. Thanks to the following for taking a turn in the radio room: Harris, LeFevre, Clukey, Skaggs, DiPierro, and Pollack.
As most of you already know, I am stepping down as Flotilla Staff Officer for Communications due to other commitments that are demanding more of my time. I will be continuing as a member of Flotilla 96, as a watchstander, and as a volunteer for other projects and events as best I can.
