The Coast Guard will begin promoting two often neglected programs this fall, according to Division Vice Commander David Crockwell.
“I have been asked to create a separate unit in Division 9,” Crockwell wrote early this month. “It would be loosely connected to the Marine Safety Detachment in Fort. Myers. Apparently the Coast Guard wants to increase the Waterway Watch along our AOR as well as creating and starting a Sea Partners Program in our area.”
