Action at Safe Boating Week

Flotilla 96 kicked off the National Safe Boating Week with an event at the Bass Pro Shop at Gulf Coast Town Center on Sunday, May 23^rd.

Phill Smith taught a class on GPS Tips/Techniques and Neil Arnal along with Bernie Appelman held a class on Selecting the Proper Life Jacket.



Dave Shuster Helps Boaters at Bass Pro Shops



Flotilla 96 members Dave Shuster, Bill Willsey, Larry Urbanek, Bernie Appelman and Neil Arnal handed out Safe Boating Literature to customers as they entered the store.  Tables were set up in the entryway with boating literature and we were able to answer the many questions the boating public had.          Photo & story by Neil Arnal
