Grant Skaggs, Navigation Systems

The 2012 Light list for Aids to Navigation and private Aids to Navigation verification is now available. You can find the list at: http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/pdf/lightLists/LightList%20V3.pdf

To print our AOR light list, select pages 182-199. To view it on screen it will appear as pages 48-65 although the pages are not listed in any type of numerical order on the light list. It is much easier just to print pages 182-199.
I will provide copies of the 2012 light list at the flotilla for your viewing.

Aton Verifiers should become familiar with the website:
http:www.cgaux7.org/index7.htm?page=ns .
This site will get you to the forms and information you need to perform your verifications. Remember to use all the required forms in filing your report. I will be glad to help and please contact me before sending your reports up the line.

People who wish to become an ATON verifiers will now have to go through a Performance Qualification Standard. I have provided a copy of the training guide at the flotilla for those who are interested.

I encourage Aton Verifiers to begin their work but you should be using the 2012 light list. Remember the waters are shallow this time of year.A current Notice to Mariner's listng for our AOR will be provided at the general meeting. You can also find the Notice to Mariner's at:
