December was a quiet month leading into the Christmas holiday. We conducted Visibility events over three Saturdays before Christmas at Bass Pro Shops, Ace Hardware and West Marine. Participation was good, we made many contacts. Thanks to the volunteers who stood station at these locations: Ned Herrmann, Bill Willsey, George Stancil, Kent Kolegue, Dave Shuster, Mike Murphy, John Tyson, Susan Roseberry, Bernie Appelman, Heidi Laquadra, Jerry Lipps, John Gaston and Ginny Russell. Great job to all!
We have made arrangements to begin monthly VSC’s at Bass Pro Shops in conjunction with their canoe and kayak seminars. In addition, we will be conducting educational sessions there every month.
We made 142 visits through mid-December and added six new partners.
