Grant Skaggs, Navigation Systems


In February, 161 private Aids to Navigation were checked at Mullock Creek, South Estero Channel, Wiggins Pass, and Barefoot Beach Club channel. One hundred forty- three of these were verified as watching properly. Eighteen had discrepancies.

There is a lot left to do before hurricane season but it is a good start.  An Aton Verification Class was held at Saint Hillary's Church on April 14. Our verifiers were encouraged to attend as many changes have been made from last year's procedures.
