Five
new member applications were submitted during February: Paul Thompson, Stephen
Gates, Brad Snow, Ross Tisci and Peter Wallace. We hope to receive notification
of their approval in time for being sworn in at the March meeting.

The
Telecommunications class continued in February with students Mike Murphy, Laly
Santiago and Ray Mino. Upon completion of the class in March and passing the
Qualification Exam the flotilla will have 31 watchstanders. Ed Walters and
Larry Urbanek have been participating in the class with the goal of assuming
responsibility for teaching future TCO classes.
